Our Story

Takeover Talent was founded by two creators who built their following from zero to over 2 million — and their brand from the ground up. Without the backing of a major agency, we generated over $1 million in brand deals on our own.

After nearly a decade in the influencer space, we saw firsthand how the traditional talent management model often fails the very people it’s meant to support — creators.

We lived it: agencies more focused on signing new talent than supporting the creators already on their roster. We became just another name on a spreadsheet. The priority shifted to onboarding the next big thing — chasing bigger numbers and more money — while the creators who helped build those agencies were pushed aside.

Two separate agencies failed us— both collapsed, and we never received the payments we were owed.

Why We Started Takeover Talent

We were tired of being taken advantage of — over and over again. And we were heartbroken watching our fellow creators be left with nothing. We all had families to support. Many of us left stable jobs to pursue content creation full-time, only to be burned by the very agencies that promised to help us grow.

To make matters worse, those same agencies became our biggest critics. They told us we weren’t good enough, that we didn’t have the right look, or that certain brands were “out of our league.” They didn’t support us — they tore us down.

Creators began turning to us — not just for advice, but for real support, guidance, and eventually, full management.

They trusted us because we got it. We weren’t outsiders—we’d lived the struggle, felt the frustration, and knew exactly what they were up against.

That’s when we realized: it was time to take over.
